These spoons have been in my family since the 1890’s and are very dear to me. My grandmother and her sister collected them, and they are engraved with their names or initials and the year they were purchased. I remember helping my grandmother polish them when I was a kid, and they hung on a rack in my mother’s home for years after my grandmother passed away. Mom gave them to me about 10 years ago and I just stuck them in cheap frames that didn’t do justice to their heritage or to the precious memories they represent. Now they are preserved, expertly held in place in proper shadow boxes lined with velvet, encased in special non-glare museum glass. Andy treated them with kid gloves, and helped me turn them into real artwork! And Gram would be so proud!
